My Journey in Digital Media
I have been producing turnkey video content, both short and long-form, for broadcast, digital, and social media over the past 11 years. I have produced video content for ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo Finance, Billboard Magazine, The Hollywood Reporter, Vibe Magazine, Stereogum, Daily Racing Form, RapidSOS, Comodo Cybersecurity, Fanpage and CBS Inside Edition.
My experience also includes technical directing and managing production for live streams, managing crews as large as 20 and developing video content for marquee events ranging from the Kentucky Derby to the Grammys and Golden Globes as well as The Berkshire Hathaway Annual Shareholders Meeting.
Separately, I have at one point or another worked hands on in every position of digital video workflows such as editorial planning, field production, live event producing, camera operating, sound engineering/mixing, digital and social video content creation and VOD/OTT strategy.

Senior Video Producer
I currently lead a team of 6 producers. As a newsroom leader, I oversee the end-to-end production process for all things video for ABC News' digital platforms. I manage workflows for story pitching, field producing, programming, scripting and video editing. My teams main focus is developing original video content, managing platform and partner programming, longform projects, and breaking news coverage. I collaborate across the whole newsroom and network teams, conduct in-depth research and maintain editorial, legal and maintain ABC News standards in our content.

I worked as a producer on the live journalism team at The Wall Street Journal. Major duties include collaborating with coverage chiefs, reporters, editors, and producers across the newsroom to develop comprehensive coverage strategies for flagship WSJ live events such as WSJ Tech Live, Future of Everything Festival and CEO Council Summit. Field Production Supervisor
I managed a small team of 3 and ran all aspects of field video production from pre to post - along with content curation and digital media management for our OTT platforms. I produced, shot, edited and directed video coverage in the field and studio for live streaming hits, live events, packages and live segments. I also worked to build and maintain relationships with business executives, industry professionals, leaders and their representatives. I worked across the newsroom in the planning and execution of editorial practices and standards.

Live Streaming Video Producer
In this role I managed and lead the live streaming video operations at magazine and publication Billboard as well as their sister company The Hollywood Reporter. I oversaw and carried out contracts with syndication partners and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. I technical directed, produced and participated in small scale productions but also managed and technical directed large events such as the Grammys and Golden Globes red carpet and backstage live streaming shows. This required working with vendors, production companies and managing crews of 20+ people and budgets in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. The role eventually transformed into more of a traditional social and digital producer role on top of my live streaming related duties. During my time there I was responsible for the creation of 5 original VOD/YouTube series.
Daily Racing Form

Producer
During my time at horse racing magazine Daily Racing Form I produced, edited and directed 15-25 original digital videos and two live streaming shows weekly. I was in charge of field producing coverage of live remotes from around the country for major events and races. In my role I achieved a 150% increase in live streaming show views and 40% increase in on-demand video views YOY during our 2016 Triple Crown video coverage. In this role I was also the lead on studio engineering and content curation outside of my daily producing duties. I was promoted from associate producer to producer in March of 2016.
