I currently work as a producer on the live journalism team at The Wall Street Journal. Major duties include collaborating with coverage chiefs, reporters, editors, and producers across the newsroom to develop comprehensive coverage strategies for flagship WSJ events such as WSJ Tech Live, Future of Everything Festival and CEO Council Summit. In this role, I also assist with the research and development of concepts for original videos, guests, and stage formats for WSJ

Field Production Supervisor

I managed a small team and ran all aspects of field video production from pre to post - along with content curation and digital media management for our OTT platforms.  I produced, shot, edited, and directed video coverage in the field and studio for live streaming hits, live events, and packages and segments.  I also work to build and maintain relationships with business executives, industry professionals, leaders, journalists, and their representatives. Worked across the newsroom in the planning and execution of editorial practices and standards.

I full-time freelanced from March of 2018 until February 2019.  I work on various projects and contracts for various companies ranging from enterprises to start-ups and small businesses.  Many of the roles I have been hired for are as a consultant, video producer, video editor, audio engineer, and content creator.  Some clients include: 92.3 FM Alt Radio, Fanpage (iHeart Media), Billboard Magazine, Berger Media, The Points Guy, Comodo Cybersecurity, EverythingBenefits, and many more. My company also does work for small businesses around graphic design, SEO, web development, digital marketing, social media ad campaigns and digital content creation.

LIVE STREAMING VIDEO PRODUCER

In this role I managed and lead the live streaming video operations at magazine and publication Billboard and their sister company The Hollywood Reporter.  I oversaw and carried out contracts with syndication partners and social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.  I technical directed, produced, and participated in small scale productions but also managed and technical directed large events such as the Grammys and Golden Globes red carpet and backstage live streaming shows.  This required working with vendors, production companies, and managing crews of 20+ people and budgets in the tens of thousands of dollars.  The role eventually transformed into more of a traditional social and digital producer role on top of my live streaming related duties.  During my time there I was responsible for the creation of 5 original segments and VOD series.

SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCER

My first taste of professional experience and real world digital content creation came from this boutique marketing agency in northern NJ.  I managed social media pages and developed digital content for approximately 10 small businesses.  I wrote copy for various press releases, social media posts and advertising campaigns.  I was our lead producer for Social Media Optimization (SMO) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) related duties.  In this role I had a great mentor and boss there that helped me start my career on the right foot and learn how to approach the marketing and content creation side of business.

June 2015 - October 2016

PRODUCER

During my time at horse racing magazine Daily Racing Form I produced, edited, and directed 15-25 digital videos and two live streaming shows weekly.  I was in charge of field producing coverage of live remotes from around the country for major events and races.  In my role I achieved a 150% increase in live streaming show views and 40% increase in on-demand video views YOY during our 2016 Triple Crown video coverage.  In this role I was also the lead on studio engineering and content curation outside of my daily producing duties.  I was promoted from associate producer to producer in March of 2016.
